System Tag Groups

The system tag groups in the Data Catalog are divided into two types: intrinsic data tag groups and domain tag groups.

Editing and deletion of system tag groups is not supported.

Creating new tags is not supported for system tag groups.

Editing and deletion of tags in system tag groups is not supported.

Intrinsic Data Tag Groups

The intrinsic data tag group is used to contain tags that are synchronized together with all types of data, and are used to classify and manage these tags. The current version of the Data Catalog has the following intrinsic data tag groups:

  • DcmKV: The device key is synchronized from the IoT Hub. The tag name is the Key, and the tag attribute is the value.
  • DcmPointKV: The measuring point Key is synchronized from the IoT Hub. The tag name is the Key, and the tag attribute is the value.
  • DcmModel: The model is synchronized from the IoT Hub. The tag name is the model ID.
  • DcmTree: The asset tree ID is synchronized from the IoT Hub. The tag name is the asset tree ID.
  • DcmTreeKV: The asset tree Key is synchronized from IoT Hub. The tag name is the Key, and the tag attribute is the value.

Domain Tag Groups

Domain tag groups contain common tags that the EnOS platform accumulates in the course of the domain’s actual business. Users can access them as required in different scenarios. The current version of the Data Catalog has the following domain data tag groups:

  • Haystack: standard domain data tag group.
  • MDMType: domain business entity tag group.
  • Mart: a business subject domain tag group in the data mart.

Note

When [creating a glossary](/docs/data-asset-catalog/en/2.3.0/howto/term_create.html#creating-a-glossary), the field tag group will also be added to the Data Catalog for use.
