Applying for Data Catalog Resources

Before using the Data Catalog service to query and manage data, you need to ensure the organization has applied for Data Catalog resources.

The specific steps are as follows:

1. Log in to the EnOS Management Console and select Resource Management from the left navigation bar.

2. At the top of the Resource List page, select the Enterprise Data Platform tab.

3. Under the Data Catalog , click Request Resource to start the application for resources.

4. In the Data Catalog resource application page, you can configure the following resources by clicking the slide bar or directly entering the values in the input field:

   • Resource Type: default is stand-alone mode
   • R/W Resource: configure the size of write and query resources, the range is 0.5-4 CU
   • Storage Capacity: configure the storage space size, the range is 10 ~ 5000 GB
   • Data Synchronization: configure the size of the synchronized data resource, the range is 0.5-500 CU

5. After configuration is complete, click Request Now> OK to complete the Data Catalog resource application.
