Connectors¶
Connectors are used to define the flow sequence and process paths by linking events and activities to each other. The process paths formed are unidirectional. You can connect only one connector to the input or output point of an element. If you want to have multiple paths for an element, you must use a gateway.
Connectors are represented by arrows in the process designer.
Properties¶
The following table describes the properties of a connector.
| Property | Description |

| Name | Specify a name for your own reference. |
| Condition | Specify the condition for the path by using a UEL expression. The path is taken if the expression evaluates to true. |
| Update Custom Status | Select whether to update the custom status if this path is taken. This property appears only if you have selected to apply custom statuses for the process. |
| Update To | Select the custom status to display if the process moves through this path. |
